The solubility curve of Lithium Formate Monohydrate (LFM) crystal was measured using laser schlieren technique in 300‐320 K. According to the effects of temperature to solubility, solution heat of LFM crystal was calculated. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis of LFM was performed in the temperature range of 300‐500 K. Endothermic peaks of the DSC curve of LFM crystal were assigned, and fusion heat and hydration activation energy of LFM were calculated. (© 2004 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
