The lattice model is presented for describing the growth kinetics of binary crystals with various symmetry of crystallographic lattices (for example, ‐fcc, ‐bcc, simple cubic, diamond type). The system of kinetic equations of growth of binary crystal faces for different crystallographic face orientations is obtained. The discussion is given concerning applicability of the interphase model “with overhangs” and “without overhangs”.
