Using a photogoniometer the dispersion of the dynamic scattering process for visible light in colourless nematic liquid crystals was studied depending on sample voltage, observation angle and primary beam polarization. The results may be interpreted by means of a scattering model based on the dispersion effects of the birefringence and of the elliptical polarization.
