For the relative position of layers, the parameters are studied in detail. The number of independent parameters for an OD groupoid family may be determined by means of a table. Proposals are made for an extension of the symbols of some OD groupoid families, in order to give a full set of independent parameters. Rules for the linear dependence of parameters are examined.
