Absorption spectra temperature dependence of LiNbO 3 doped with the Cr‐, Mn‐, Fe, Co‐, Ni‐ and Cu‐irons is studied. Band gap variation of the doped lithium niobate against impurity, temperature and light polarization direction is determined.
