In the present paper morphology and orientation relations of BaCl 2 precipitates in NaCl single crystals are described. It is shown that BaCl 2 precipitates of large dimensions are formed at the dislocations of a/2〈110〉{100}, the dislocation lines of which are oriented in the directions 〈210〉.
