The crystallisation process for ammoniumtitanyl sulphate in highly stirred (1500 r.p.m.) sulfuric acid solutions is investigated, also in the presence of niobium or tantalum. A formerly derived empirical equation (Khamskij) for the dependence of induction period on supersaturation is confirmed experimentally. Crystallisation velocities occuring at different conditions are reported.
