If that's not a “duh” headline, what is, right? Even the cannabis industry doesn't advise teens or pregnant women (who think it may help with morning sickness) to use the drug. But last month, U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams, M.D., had to issue an advisory that should not be controversial: Marijuana should not be used by pregnant women or adolescents. That's because the pro‐cannabis movement, which has some validity in adults, has now stretched the limits of medical advisability, according to Adams, who was attacked for his views on Twitter for days — even weeks — afterward.
