Trigeminal nerve stimulation (TNS) is effective for the treatment of attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), according to a recent study. The study, published in the April issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry , was sham‐controlled, and showed that the effect of treatment with TNS was similar in effect size to treatment with nonstimulants.
