The Front Cover shows the autonomous research car of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Given the increasing percentage of self‐driving vehicles and driver assistance systems in use, in the future near‐IR and short‐wave IR emitting, long persistent luminescent materials (such as those shown in the centre right of the image) will play an important role as adapted road markings.
