Delta‐9‐tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ‐9‐THC), the psychoactive component of marijuana, in concentrations of 0.6 × 10 −4 M to 10.6 × 10 −4 M, has no effect on the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) synthesis of resting normal human lymphocytes or on their responses to phytohemagglutinin or to allogeneic lymphocytes.
