To become competent and to stay competent in any area of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics gets more difficult each year. The problem of keeping up with the rapid and accelerating growth of new knowledge is compounded by the difficulty in choosing among a large number of meetings, courses, and workshops that compete for our time, our attention, and our shrunken travel budgets.
