A collection of new closed sequential designs applicable to clinical trials with the paired preference technique is presented. The designs are simple, consisting of two intersecting straight lines. No advantage other than simplicity is claimed over designs such as those of Bross and Armitage when comparable designs are available, but a broader selection of risk and probability levels is prOVided.
