Naloxone is an opioid antagonist with little, it any, agonistic activity. Cyclazocine, on the other hand, in addition to antagoniZing the effects of morphine, produces agonistic effects in man, some of which resemble the effects produced by morphine and some of which do not. The interaction between naloxone and cyclaZOcine Wll8 assessed in 8 subjects. Naloxone antagonized the miotic and respiratory depressant as well as the behaVioral and subjective effects of cyclazocine.
