The effects of methylquinazolone on hepatic functions were studied. In the initial phase of the investigation, 200 mg. was administered daily for 4 weeks to 29 normal subjects at the end of their working day. In the second phase of the study, 7 subjects were given 400 mg. daily for 4 weeks. No evidence of any hepatic dysfunction connected with the use of methylquinazolone was found.
