This is a case study of two depressed women who were able to benefit from a 16‐week course of Interpersonal Psychotherapy. This well‐established brief psychotherapy has become increasingly available throughout the UK. The focus of this biopsychosocial approach that is on change within the patients interpersonal world means a more active goal‐focused approach that addresses symptomatic and emotional concerns using the individuals narrative.
