The Cover Feature illustrates a synergetic damage of DNA guanine nucleobases by ionizing radiation and accompanying oxidation by electronically excited singlet molecular oxygen. These concurrent oxidative processes lead to prevalent DNA lesions in vivo. Their reaction mechanisms, dynamics, and product structures were revealed by gas‐phase ion‐molecule reactions and mass spectrometry, from which a molecular‐level understanding of the chemistry is provided for elucidating the biological consequences and implications. Cover design by May Myat Moe. More information can be found in the Full Paper by J. Liu and co‐workers.
