Invited for this month's cover are the collaborating groups of Dr. Thierry Darmanin at Université Côte d'Azur, France and Dr. François Rossi at JRC European Commission, Italy. The cover picture shows a novel strategy for preparing substrates having a rose‐petal effect (high water adhesion). The micropatterning specifications (pillar diameter and pitch) and the electropolymerization parameters are key to obtaining both high water apparent contact angles and a high hysteresis.
