The cover picture shows carbon quantum dots (CQDs) incorporated into TiO 2 films for light‐induced cell harvest. The presence of CQDs in the film inhibits charge recombination of the TiO 2 system under UV illumination, which increases the negative surface potential and changes the secondary structure of adsorbed extracellular protein molecules, and consequently results in a faster release of cells.
