Making light work : Three novel W/Nb mixed‐addendum polyoxometalates, which all contain the {SiNb 3 W 9 O 40 } cluster, have been synthesized by conventional aqueous methods. Visible‐light photocatalytic H 2 evolution activity (see figure) was observed for two of the compounds, with H 2 PtCl 6 as a cocatalyst and triethylamine as a sacrificial electron donor.
