The Cover Feature shows H 5 O 2 + and H 4 O 2+ ions (top); the central H‐atom in H 5 O 2 + interacts strongly with both O‐atoms thus it partly possesses character of divalent centre; the O‐centre in H 4 O 2+ diction is tetravalent without any doubt. For the CHB 11 F 11 ‐ ⋅⋅⋅H + ⋅⋅⋅[O(CH 3 ) 3 ] + complex (bottom) the tetravalency of oxygen is mediated by the carborane superacid unit; the central H‐atom may be also considered here as divalent.
