The Cover Feature shows a scheme of an acoustics aptasensor for detecting leukemia cells based on thiolated DNA aptamers immobilized at a thin gold electrode of a quartz crystal transducer. The aptamers recognize PTK7 cancer markers at the cell surface. Binding of the cells resulted in decrease of the resonant frequency of the aptasensor.
