The Back Cover picture illustrates how synchrotron‐based near‐edge X‐ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) spectroscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) are used to investigate carbon dioxide adsorption on ceria (110) surfaces.
