The Clar structure is identified in inorganic boron nitride analogues of polybenzenoid hydrocarbons chemistry through DFT calculations. A weaker correlation between the ring number of the BN analogues and energy differences between the most and least stable isomers is indicated in comparison with that in organic counterparts.
