The cover picture shows an artistic representation of silver nanoparticles assembled on the surface of a hexaniobate crystal, as described by M. B. Cardoso, I. O. Mazali et al. on p. 4075 ff. The silver/hexaniobate crystals are prepared by an eco‐friendly method which allows to control the size of the silver nanoparticles and to adjust the bacterial activity of the composite against Escherichia coli. Owing to their bactericidal properties, these silver/hexaniobate crystals are appealing materials for the development of antibacterial surfaces.
