Au can behave like H in forming super‐ and hyperhalogens with Au acting either as a ligand or as a central atom. Similar to AlH 4 and HF 2 , AlAu 4 and AuF 2 are superhalogens. They can also form hyperhalogens, such as Na(AlAu 4 ) 2 and AuF 2 AuAuF 2 , as shown on p. 3227 by Q. Wang et al.
