E. L. Quitevis, G. A. Voth et al. performed OKE measurements on a 50 mol % mixture of CH 3 CN and [C 5 mim][NTf 2 ] and show on p. 1687 ff. the results to be consistent with the CH 3 CN molecules being localized at the interface of polar and nonpolar domains, as indicated by their simulations of the mixture.
