To unravel the configuration of spheroidene in a photosynthetic reaction center, on p. 3157 ff. M. C. van Hemert, J. Neugebauer, and J. M. Boereboom study a model of spheroidene in its binding pocket, comprising more than 500 atoms, in a first‐principles resonance Raman calculation.
