Thinly spread: Ultrathin layers of exfoliated MoS 2 exhibit remarkable photoluminescence which is absence in bulk MoS 2 . The intensity of the fluorescence is further enhanced by Ag@SiO 2 core/shell composites due to on metal‐enhanced fluorescence (see picture).
