Material composed of graphene on a Au(111) surface that can stably adsorb carbon‐based rings in biomolecules and has excellent conductivity is proposed and demonstrated by C. Fan, H. Fang et al. on p. 585 . By using this material as the substrate, the signal‐to‐noise ratio is greatly enhanced, so that different nucleobases can be clearly distinguishable.
