Molecular recognition force spectroscopy is used to study the specific interaction between RCA 120 and Gal on living HeLa cells at the single‐molecule level (see picture). The results indicate that this technique can be used to explore the force and dynamics of lectin–carbohydrate interaction in living cells in their native environments.
