Drop by drop: The reduction of iron acetate deposited onto surfaces by hydrazine vapor results in the formation of nanometer‐sized particles and was investigated by means of SFM (see picture), TEM and XPS. The uniform size distribution of the formed particles can be explained by a model that involves the conversion of needle‐like aggregates into individual particles.
