The spin dynamics and the unique dynamic electron polarization resulting from a quantum‐mixed charge‐separated ion‐pair (QM‐CSIP) state generated by photoinduced electron transfer are studied for an ideal π‐conjugated spin system 1 , in which an electron acceptor ( A ) is covalently linked—via a photosensitive donor moiety ( D )—to a radical ( R ). These results could have interesting applications in molecular spintronics.
