Green energy: An aqueous rechargeable lithium battery (ARLB) based on a doping and intercalation mechanism is presented. This battery is safe, environmentally friendly, and cheap, and could therefore have important applications in new energy storage systems. The new ARLB is composed of polypyrrole and LiMn 2 O 4 electrodes, which are stable and allow a good performance (see voltammograms).
