Playing with gold : Design of a supramolecular hydrogel containing gold nanoparticles, thiol‐derived cyclodextrins and a commercial copolymer is achieved. This system exhibits a sol‐gel phase transition via physical and chemical interactions. Moreover, the gel‐sol transition is induced by addition of a competitive guest.
