Time for Exchange! Ultrafast chemical reactions lead to the exchange of the environment of molecular chromophores on short timescales. This article focuses on the application of 2D infrared chemical exchange spectroscopy to study the ultrafast isomerization around a carbon‐carbon single bond at thermal equilibrium.
