Macroscopic characterisation: The adsorption/desorption equilibrium of trioctylphosphine oxide ligands at colloidal InP nanocrystals (see picture) is investigated with quantitative, one‐dimensional 1 H NMR spectroscopy. Thermodynamic analysis of the isotherm demonstrates that formation of the capping is driven by favorable adsorbate–substrate interactions and is strengthened by adsorbate–adsorbate interactions.
