A simple processing technology based on a spontaneous arrangement of gold nanoparticles on cellulose nanofibers makes it possible to form a gold leaf with mechanical strength, flexibility, self‐healing ability, and electrical resistivity with a small amount of gold (13 vol.%). Furthermore, this material forms leaves on three‐dimensional micrometer‐sized substrates. The hybrid film holds great promise as a novel gold leaf for a wide range of applications owing to its unique combination of superior properties.
