An intelligent approach was developed to screen Na−Mn−W/SiO 2 catalysts for oxidative coupling of methane (OCM). Effective compositions other than the frequently used composition were successfully found. The wide range of optimal compositions allowed a fluctuation of composition during the reaction, which led to excellent stability in the OCM.
