Lithium–O 2 batteries with a high energy density are promising power sources for electric vehicles. The article featured on the front cover reports novel RuO 2 nanoparticles@La 0.6 Sr 0.4 Co 0.2 Fe 0.8 O 3 nanofibers as efficient oxygen reduction reaction (ORR)/oxygen evolution reaction (OER) bifunctional catalysts and their excellent performance as a cathode catalyst for Li–O 2 batteries. The improved performance is attributed to the superior catalytic activation of RuO 2 nanoparticles toward OER. More information can be found in the Full Paper by C. Sun et al. on page 485 in Issue 7, 2017 (DOI: 10.1002/cnma.201700071).
