A study of the development of the motor‐nuclei of the hindbrain of the domestic fowl, Gallus domesticus, during the entire period of incubation has been made, including the time of appearance of the nuclear groups and the subsequent differentiation of each. The nuclear pattern presented by this form is very similar to that of other avian forms as recorded in the literature.
