Despite dramatic improvements in survival for most cancers over the past decade, outcomes for cancer patients with metastatic disease continue to be dismal. Haldar et al present a randomized trial of the perioperative combination of COX2 and beta‐adrenergic blockade in patients with resectable colorectal cancer.
