Despite several important new accomplishments, including making campuses tobacco free, the fields of medicine and public health and their communities must stay vigilant to the harms of tobacco, especially with regard to new products and new approaches led by tobacco companies. The war on Big Tobacco and the harms it causes must continue as the focus of these companies shifts away from adult smokers in Western countries toward youth and the developing world.
