After gynecologic risk‐reducing surgery, BRCA1/2 mutation carriers remain at risk of developing primary peritoneal cancer. The study by Harmsen et al in this issue of Cancer provides information regarding who might be at greater risk after risk‐reduction surgery. See also pages 952‐9.
