These guidelines update the Chinese Guidelines on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Primary Lung Cancer (2011 Version) released by the former Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China. The purpose of this work is to standardize the diagnosis and treatment protocols of primary lung cancer and enhance the related practice at medical institutions in order to improve the prognosis of patients with primary lung cancer and the quality and safety of health care services.
