Despite the widespread use of baseline ( 18 F)fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)‐positron emission tomography imaging for patients with diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma, its prognostic significance has not been extensively studied. Total lesion glycolysis, which reflects both tumor burden and metabolic activity, has significant prognostic value in patients with newly diagnosed diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma in this retrospective study.
