The back cover picture shows tororaro ( Muehlenbeckia astonii) , a shrub endemic to New Zealand. New Zealand is unusual in that nearly 10 % of its woody flora is made up of divaricating plants like tororaro. One theory is that the plants developed this divergent interlacing branching as a protection against browsing moa (large flightless birds now extinct). The divaricating branching is reminiscent of dendrimers as can be seen traced out in yellow. PEE‐G dendrimers have been specifically designed to meet the requirements of pharmaceutical applications. Their high HPLC purity, high stability, and low cytotoxicity, immunogenicity, and in vivo toxicity make them ideal tools for drug discovery. More information can be found in the Communication by Phillip M. Rendle et al. on page 1583 in Issue 15, 2016 (DOI: 10.1002/cmdc.201600270).
