The inside cover picture shows antimyelin basic protein (MBP)‐stained oligodendrocytes (image provided by Carmen Barske). The S1P5 agonists described significantly increase the number of MBP+ mature oligodendrocytes at very low concentrations, suggesting that these compounds might directly promote myelination and could thus be beneficial in the treatment of demyelinating disorders, such as multiple sclerosis.
