Chemical biology for medicinal chemistry : The nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drug sulindac was originally developed to inhibit cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX1/2) to treat inflammation and pain. Recent studies have shown that sulindac also acts on the Wnt signaling pathway, a target relevant to cancer.
