A relatively asymptomatic 58‐year‐old nonhyper‐tensive male developed changes of remarkable apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy associated with deep negative T‐wave change and marked ventricular dyssynergy without apparent precipitating cause over a nine‐year period.
